Oil and gas · India

Oil and gas ERP software for India: oilfield services, drilling contractors, pipelines. Contractors, equipment, spares, projects and the books behind them.

For oilfield services, drilling and equipment contractors, pipeline and distribution operators. The work is done by contractors and machines, far from the office. The ERP keeps the money, the equipment and the projects in one place.

Contractors and vendors

Every contractor bill with the right TDS, on the right project.

Most of the cost in oil and gas is bought in: rigs, crews, transport, catering, security. Each bill needs a tax deduction, a project and an approval.

TDS on bills and on payments
TDS is deducted at the rate set for each vendor, on the bill or on the payment, whichever the contract says. PAN and TAN sit on the vendor record.
Bills matched to the work
A contractor bill is matched to the purchase order and to the goods or service received. What was not ordered is not paid.
Landed cost on imports
Freight, insurance, customs duty and port charges are spread over the imported items, by value, quantity, weight or volume. The stock value is the true cost.
Approvals
A requisition, an order or a bill above a limit goes to the person set for that limit. The approval is on the document, with the date and the name.

Equipment and maintenance

Rigs, pumps, compressors and vehicles, each with its own service record.

The equipment register
Every machine is a record: category, location, running hours, the parts fitted to it. Service requests and work orders hang off that record.
Planned maintenance
Maintenance schedules by hours run or by date. The work order lists the tasks, the tools and the spare parts, and the technician's time is logged against it.
Spares by location
Stock of spares by warehouse, yard and site. A part issued to a work order leaves the store and lands on the equipment's cost.
The asset side
The same equipment is a fixed asset: depreciation, insurance, transfer between sites and disposal, on one record.

Projects

A well, a pipeline stretch, a shutdown: a project with a budget and an actual.

Budget against actual
Each project has a budget by line. Material issued, contractor bills and time booked post against it. The report shows budget, actual and the difference, while the project is running.
Commitments count
A purchase order that is placed but not yet billed is a commitment. Budget control can stop a new order when budget plus commitments would go over.
Capital projects become assets
When a construction project closes, its cost moves to the asset register as a new asset, ready to depreciate.

Tax in India

Petroleum sits outside GST. The rest does not.

Crude, petrol, diesel and natural gas are outside GST. Services, equipment and most supplies are inside it. Onfinity applies the tax set on each line, so one bill can carry both.

Tax per line
Each product and service carries its own tax. CGST, SGST and IGST follow the place of supply. Lines outside GST carry the tax your CA sets.
e-Way bill and e-Invoice
The e-Way bill is generated from the delivery document and can be cancelled from it. The e-Invoice with IRN and QR code comes from the invoice itself.
Several entities
An operating company, a services company and a joint venture are organisations in one system. Each keeps its own books. The group sees them together.

What it costs

Per user, for the office. By quotation for several entities.

₹1,999 per user per month for the people who work in the system. Payroll and self-service, ₹70 per employee per month. Nova, for several plants or entities, is priced on request.

Every edition, and what is not in the licence: the pricing page. The asset side in full: enterprise asset management.

Bring one month of contractor bills and one equipment file.

The demo runs on them: the bills matched, TDS deducted, the equipment serviced, the project's budget against its actual.
