Getting started with VIENNA Advantage Document Management System<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The focus of this tutorial is to explain you how to start with the document management system and make you familiar with it\u2019s features.<\/p>\n

Login for the first time<\/strong><\/h4>\n

After downloading and installing the necessary files you can login into the system and start working on some basic customizations and setups. When login for the first time:<\/p>\n

[1] Use \u201cSuperUser\u201d username and appointed default password and click \u201cLogin\u201d button<\/p>\n

[2] A new window will open from where you should choose: Role, Client, Organization and Warehouse (if applicable).<\/p>\n

[3] Than click on the \u201cLogin\u201d button<\/p>\n

[4] And you will enter the \u201cHome Screen\u201d of our DMS system. The home screen will be pretty empty, but that is because you are just starting the system. As soon as you you make the initial setup you will see some more objects and notifications on the home screen.<\/p>\n

It is important to note that only System Administrators have the right to install modules and make administrative system enhancements.<\/p>\n

Verifying whether the right modules are installed<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In order to start using the DMS system, you should first verify whether the right modules are installed. To do that, [1] navigate to the \u201cLinks\u201d section on the \u201cHome Screen\u201d and click on the \u201cMarket\u201d icon to access the Market Menu. [2] Once you are in the Market Menu, under the \u201cAll Apps\u201d tab, you may see all installed modules, as well as all available modules.<\/p>\n

VIENNA Advantage DMS as a stand alone is based on the VIENNA Advantage Application Development Framework<\/a>. Therefore, based on this framework, a certain modules should be installed to run the Document Management System:<\/p>\n
